This is the title of the annual Upright Gallery artists’ books exhibition this year.
It runs from 30th November until 20th December.
I will have two books on display and how could I ignore the temptation to acknowledge the great Mr Dury.
‘Hey, Hey Take Me Away’ is a homage to the song ‘Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick’ and also includes a few sly references to some of his other lyrics.
This show is always of exceptional quality and with artists books you just have to lay your hands on them to appreciate them properly ~
so if you can make it to Edinburgh then don’t miss this show where there will be great books by 35 makers.
